Poetry
I am in love with the night
I am in love with the night
the way you erase the sunset without malice.
I am in love with the night
The way that shadows give raincoats,
To those walking through grey pools
Splashing away fear letting go of tears in the dark
And underfoot
Be revered
If only stepping forward
gleaned so much Providence,
I am in love with the night
The stars barely seen through the thickness of clouds.
Every glimmering distant light a hopeful that we may delight
Even as the dark closes on death
and those we love.
I am in love with the night
She is my mistress that takes
Distress away from blanket count.
Lovers entrenched in desire and courtship
Licking the dark mass of purple creamery
Against a sunset and kismet
I am I love with the night
Aurora borealis Is my favourite celebrity
All the movement of light in the obscurity
Held hidden meaning
for me.
